From the 27 July to the 31 July 2011, the Singapore International Jewellery Show 2011 will be held at the MBS Convention and Exhibition Centre. The exhibition will feature a grand 190 exhibitors from 25 countries, and a line-up of entertaining Fashion shows, Fengshui talks and Wedding workshops as well. The exhibition is free and open to public.

Something to look out for at the exhibition is Singapore’s Lee Hwa Jewellery’s showcase piece, the Grand Primavera necklace. It brings a creative twist to Mother Earth to showcase at this year’s show which pays homage to the five elements of the Mother Earth – Wood, Earth, Metal, Fire and Water. Symbols of luck in Chinese culture, the unique theme enthused Lee Hwa to create this avant-garde signature piece exclusively for the event.

Inspired by the very beauty of our Mother Earth with a touch of the jovial spirit, the centrepiece of the Primavera necklace features 10 whimsical jewelled ‘flowers’ – each with a purple amethyst core and encircled by yellow gold petals with a striking interplay of black rhodium and brilliant diamonds along the border. The capricious motif, in prominently striking colours and interlinked by a white gold chain, plunges tantalizingly down the neckline – a gorgeous piece for the poised fashion diva.
