What better way to kick-start the 125th Anniversary of the world‟s most popular German wheat beer than with the most happening Oktoberfest celebrations at Swiss Club? The annual German-themed festivities will kick off at the Swiss Club, Open Field, from Wednesday, 14th September to Sunday, 18th September.

Fresh Erdinger draft beer will lead the toast paired with an array of popular German delicacies, such as Bockwurst, Weisswurst and Pork Knuckles, served to bring you the Bavarian experience.

The Oktoberfest celebration closes with a Family Brunch (Fruehschoppen) on Sunday, 18th September at 11am to 2pm, which will be a great family affair as the children enjoy themselves at the bouncy castle, magic show performance with lots of cotton candy and popcorn while the adults continue to enjoy the band performance with non-stop flow of Erdinger beer!

ROKTOBER! With Erdinger at Timbre @ The Substation

The party continues with ROKTOBER With Erdinger at Timbre @ The Substation from 20 October to 23 October! The Roktober! party is a celebration in spirit of Oktoberfest with a local touch that features beer-drinking and merrymaking, much like Singapore‟s very own Oktoberfest.

To bring the celebrations up a notch, Timbre will be giving 200 free beer coupons nightly on Friday, 21st October and Saturday, 22nd October at the Peranakan Museum for the Roktober! party.

Patrons will get to enjoy the specially-created Roktober! food menu items as well as chilled Erdinger beers
sold exclusively at the event.

Local bands such as The Marilyns and Cheating Sons, and New Jersey – the Bon Jovi tribute band from Australia – will set the mood for the evenings with their „live‟ band performances. For Rugby lovers, the Bronze-finals and finals of the Rugby World Cup 2011 will also be screened „live‟ at Roktober!

What is Oktoberfest without some fun and games? Partake the Roktober! stage games, such as the
Singapore‟s Roktober! beer pong championship, sausage eating competition, and beer „chapteh‟ where
contestants are supposed to play 3 rounds of „chapteh‟ after drinking a pint of beer after each round.

The Roktober! party at Timbre @ The Substation is expected to draw 5000 visitors over the four days. So,
